Self portrait #3

Why do I try to make my portraits with life like skin tones? I think they look better when they are very vivid. Maybe I’m really not finished… what do you think? I’m realizing I need to touch up the eyebrow on the right…

Self portrait practice #3

I’ve sketched out my face with lights and darks marked. I’ve used sanded paper. I’m looking forward to getting at it tomorrow, so long as school isn’t canceled. We’re getting rain and it’s supposed to get very cold tonight. I’ll just play it by ear
